Hi, I’m Amber. And my favorite color is green, which made middle school me think it would be funny to convince everyone my middle name was Yellow. Amber Yellow Green. That was my first ever successful, organic campaign. 

I grew up in a small town in Central Massachusetts, moved to Boston for college, and pretty quickly fell in love with the city. I studied Advertising and History at Boston University, which probably explains a lot about how I work now. Advertising taught me to think about attention, audience, and what makes an idea land. History taught me to look at how people connect with the world around them, what they believe, what they hold onto, what they ignore, and the stories they use to make sense of it all.

I’ve always liked the point where an idea stops being a joke, a sketch, or a “should we do this?” and becomes something real. The first step after usually means figuring out who it’s for, what they’re quietly annoyed by, and how to make something that feels like a person who gets it made it.

Outside of work, I’m very happy to be falling down a weird history rabbit hole, playing video games, tending to plants indoors and outdoors or trying the best Boston eats.

And I did eventually stop lying about my middle name.
